A little of this, A little of that…

Here's a miscellaneous smattering of art leftovers. Here we have some tidbits from my art past. Some traditional animation from way-back, hand-drawn in the wilds of Macromedia Flash 4 when we thought we’d outshine TV. Plus, some Unreal 5.3 environments, carved with Gaea and Grove3D just for fun. Why not?

Traditional Animation…

A small gathering of lip sync animation created with Macromedia Flash. Yep, before it was Animate and before it was owned by Adobe. This stuff is old and it’s dusty. It’s like looking back to when the internet was.

An Unreal journey.

I've been what I'd like to call "Unreal adjacent" for years now. Not really delving past the UMG feature. So, I tried my level best at creating my own environments. Drinking from the proverbial fire hose I set to learning all I could. I did it - and - I'd like to think the results aren't too bad for just bunch YouTube tutorials. Now I'm hooked. Thanks UE5.

Somewhere in Texas…

Life’s the ultimate muse, and this scene’s straight from my Texas backyard. The dry riverbed’s carved in Unreal 5.3, with Grove3D’s Live Oaks stealing the show. It’s got that Hill Country soul -rugged, open, and ready to charm.

The Pacific Northwest…

The Pacific Northwest’s towering Douglas firs were my childhood guardians, watching over Seattle’s wild heart. Where deep forest meets Puget Sound’s icy bite, this scene captures that magic. Crafted in Unreal 5.3, with Gaea and Grove3D for those majestic trees.

The American Southwest…

The desert's got this quiet, magnetic pull—like it's whispering secrets only the saguaros hear. Hot enough to bake your brains, but I'm all in for the vibe. Built this scene in Unreal 5.3, with Gaea and Grove3D for those tough, sun-scorched trees.
